Terms
Last updated 7 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Aaron Lyndon, a sole trader in New Zealand ("we", "us") for using AABA. By using AABA you agree to them.
What AABA is
AABA lets a band leader show chord charts on band members' phones and tablets and turn the page for everyone. It's new and still improving, so features may change.
Your account
Leaders sign in with an email address and a code we send. Keep access to your email secure; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
Band members don't need an account.
Your links
Each stage has a band link that lets anyone who has it view the charts, and an optional leader link that lets anyone who has it control the stage. Treat them like keys: share them only with your band, and make a new link if one gets out.
Your charts
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to store it, convert it into images and show it to the people you share your links with, only so AABA can work.
Only upload charts you have the right to use. Many songs and charts are protected by copyright; it's up to you to have the permission you need.
If you believe something on AABA infringes your rights, email info@creatorsnz.co with the details and we'll look into it and remove it where appropriate.
Fair use
Don't use AABA to break the law, to share content you don't have the rights to, to harass anyone, or to try to get into other people's stages, overload the service or get around plan limits.
We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Plans and payment
The Free plan includes up to 50 charts, unlimited stages and unlimited band members. The Band plan is for unlimited charts.
When paid plans start, prices will be shown before you pay. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and you can cancel at any time.
On stage
AABA depends on internet connections, devices and services we don't control, and it may occasionally be unavailable. Charts are loaded onto each device before you start to keep it working through patchy wifi, but have a backup plan for important performances.
Our responsibility
AABA is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses, lost income or the cost of a performance that doesn't go to plan, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you've paid us in the previous 12 months.
If you use AABA for a business, you agree the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 doesn't apply. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand law that can't be excluded.
Ending
You can stop using AABA at any time and delete your account from Your stages, or ask us to by emailing info@creatorsnz.co. We may end the service or your access with reasonable notice, and we'll give you a chance to take your charts first.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top and email leaders about significant changes. New Zealand law applies to these terms.
